Este es el momento oportuno para mencionar que la Autoridad Nacional del Ambiente (ANAM) Prohibe el uso de fuegos artificiales dentro del Parque Nacional Chagres. Estando Altos de Cerro Azul dentro del parque, tenemos que cumplir con dicha regla. El motivo de esta prohibición es evitar incendios forestales y proteger la vida silvestre.

Hay un anuncio en la entrada de los Altos de Cerro Azul en este sentido. Se puede reportar cualquier abuso a la garita de entrada, tel 297-0138, para que ellos den aviso a la patrulla mávil de seguridad.

This is the moment to remind everyone that the National Environmental Authority (ANAM) prohibits the lighting of fireworks anywhere en the Chagres National Park. As Altos de Cerro Azul is within the park, we have to comply with this rule. The reason for this prohibition is to avoid forest fires and protect wildlife from undue stress.

There is an announcement to this effect at the entrance to Los Altos. Any abuse can be reported to the gate at 297-0138, so that they can alert the security patrol.
