The reality of Los Altos de Cerro Azul

Los Altos de Cerro Azul has 2000 lots.
Of this 2000 lots.... less than 60 families (groups) live here permanently.
That amounts to a amount of 3% of the total of the lots in Los Altos de Cerro Azul.
Only 3% of all the properties in Los Altos is used as residential properties where people reside permanently.

The rest of the properties are being maintained by Panamanian and Foreign owners for the purpose of Vacation.

The Majority of the visitors into Los Altos de Cerro Azul is during weekends and Public Holidays.
The Majority of these visitors are Panamanian citizens that visit their Vacation homes with their family, friends and visitors.
During the week there is hardly ever visitors.

There has been a small group...... of mostly foreigners complaining about the visitors to Los Altos de Cerro Azul.
The fact is that most of the owners, that maintain their properties year round, use their properties to come and enjoy some time with all their friends, family and visitors. This naturally lend itself to peak times and down times that fall within weekends and public holidays.
Los Altos de Cero AZul is growing in popularity and many people are rediscovering the value of having property in Los Altos.
There has been a fast growth in the sale of lots and many new houses are being constructed in Los Altos.

In Line with this growth in visitors the administration now demand that the owners submit is list of names, surnames and cedula numbers of all their visitors to the security and administration.

Los Altos is a beautiful place and is perfectly situated close to Panama City.
This community might still develop into a popular residential community.
For now it however remains mainly a vacation destination for the majority of owners, their friends, family and visitors.
