Rainfall for end of the year 2013 is 133.37 inches here in El Centinela.
The day to day
spreadsheet is available with recordings for the last 3 years.
The month in 2013 with the most rain is September with almost 24". This month also has the maximum one day rain of 5.6" on September 28.
The most rain days in one month are in August and October with 30 each.
Overall for the year it could be said to be "normal" rainfall. In fact, the years 2013 and 2012 totals are within one inch of each other. But, the 2013 dry season is certainly here and it has come early. There are dire predictions of the lack of sufficient water in reservoirs to provide enough power for the county until the next rainy season. The increasing population of the country and the new electrically powered transit system will require more power in the future. Let's hope rolling brownouts are not in our future.
