La reunión del comité se realizó el domingo 8 de julio a las 10:00 am. con la participación de los señores David Plata (Alcazar), Julio Mendez y Sra. (Centinela), Antonio Reina, Dr. Moreno y Carlos Fadul (Guardian), Terani Simons (Frente) y al final se nos unión el Dr.Lim Yueng (Cardíologo). No pudieron asistir los señores Serafin Contreras (Vigia), Eduardo Rodriguez (Alcazar) y Miguel Agrioyanis. Asi como también Nelva Sybertz, alcirat (alias en en forum) y princessraina quién se encuentra en los U.S.A.
Se examinaron diferentes puntos de vista con respecto a lo que debe abarcar este plan de emergencias medicas y se acordó proceder a elaborar el Plan que luego sería revisado por todos los miembros y por las autoridades como ANAM, SINAPROC, BOMBEROS, POLICIA, MINISTERIO DE SALUD y la Administración. También se firmo una carta notificando a la Administración que el local que nos habián cedido para la instalación del botiquín, medicamentos y equipo, no es el más adecuado debido a los inconvenientes que presenta (muy lejos del centro de la comunidad, escaleras para bajar muy inconvenientes para incapacidados o lesionados, etc), por lo que se solicita que se examine la posibilidad de un espacio en las oficinas administrativas (Por favor entender que NO es para nosotros).
El Sr. Simons mostró una guía que obtuvo de la Universidad de Puerto Rico para la elaboración del Plan, así como una muestra de un Plan eleborado por una urbanización. The meeting of the comitte was held on sunday 8th of july at 10:00 a.m. attending David Plata, Julio Mendez and wife, Antonio Reina, Dr. Moreno, Carlos Fadul, Terani Simons and joining nearly at the end, Dr.Lim Yueng (Cardiologist). We missed Serafin contreras, Eduardo Rodriguez and Miguel Agrioyanis, and also missed Nelva Sybertz, alcirat and princessraina who is still in the USA.
There where several issues examined by the participants regarding how to set-up this emergency plan and agreed that a plan will be writing up and sent to each member to be properly examined and agreed upon, and also will be sent for approval to the local authorities such as ANAM, SINAPROC(Civil emergency authority in Panama), FIRE DEPARTMENT, POLICE DEPARTMENT AND MINISTRY OF HEALTH and also to the Cerro Azul´s Administration. The participants also signed a note to the Administration letting them know about the inconviniences of the building space that was provided to keep the emergency kit, medications and equiptment (to far from the center of the community, with staircases inconviniences for carrying wounded or dissabled people). The comitte seeks a small place at the Administration building for keeping these implements! (Please understand that it´s not for us)
Mr. Simons offered a document from the University of Puerto Rico regarding the making of an medical emergency plan, and also a working medical emergency plan from a housing development.
