Thanks to all the neighbors that have "promised" to contribute fund to the "NEIGHBORHOOD SECURITY VEHICLE" We are close to purchasing the UTV vehicle.
We have about $7000 so far of the $10,000 committed.

Hola a todos -
Hemos podido comprar un UTV John Deere Gater 201 UTV nuevo, del 2014. El modelo es Gater HPX 4X4 con 854 cc de disel; totalmente automático con parabrisas, puertas, capota y cama con revestimiento. El precio era de $ 16,374.50, se le agrego un botiquín de primeros auxilios, extinctor de fuego, cables para cargar la bateria, luces intermitentes, una luz spot y calcomanías de la Policia - $ 265, por un total de $ 16,639.50.

Siéntanse orgullosos de los compromisos contraídos por los propietarios de casas. Al final de 1 año (alrededor del 01 de julio del 2015), vamos a estudiar el uso y determinar si el proyecto valio la pena. Si no, vamos a vender el vehículo y devolverle a los contribuyentes un porcentaje del dinero de la venta.

Una vez más, la meta prevista para este proyecto, fue la de añadir patrullaje adicional de seguridad para la comunidad. El UTV hará 2 rondas completas por día con un agente de seguridad y un policía. También se podra utilizar como un vehículo de emergencia cuando sea necesario.

Gracias a todos los colaboradores que contribuyeron con dinero para este proyecto. Muchas gracias también a Vistamares por los $6000.00 dólares adicionales y a la Administadora por contribuir con el combustible necesario, el mantenimiento y los seguros. Todos estamos conscientes del creciente potencial de problemas de seguridad en nuestra zona, debido al evidente crecimiento que se dirige hacia nosotros. Así que este es un primer paso hacia ser - PRO ACTIVO. El UTV está en la oficina. Denle un "gracias" grandote a seguridad por sus esfuerzos adicionales, los necesitamos.

Hello everyone--
We were able to purchase a new 2014 John Deere Gater UTV. The model is Gater HPX 4X4 with 854 cc diesel.
fully automatic with windshield--doors--top--bed liner.
The price was $16,374.50 plus we added ,
first aid kit--fire ext--jumper cables--flashing light.--spot light.
Policia decals==$265 this was a total of $16,639.50.

Be proud of the commitments made by you home owners. At the end of 1 year (about july 1st 2015), we will study the usage & determine "if the project was worth it".
If not, we will sell the vehicle & return moneys to the contributors on a percentage of the sale.

Again, the intended goal for this project, was to add extra security patrol to the community. The UTV will make 2 complete rounds per day with a security officer & police officer. It can also be use as an emergency vehicle when needed.

Thanks to all the contributors who gave money to this project.
A big thanks also to Vistamires for their additional $6000 &
administadora for contributing the fuel needed & maintenance and insurance.
We all are aware of the increasing potential of security problems in our area, due to the obvious growth headed our way. So this is a first step toward being-- PRO ACTIVE.
The UTV is at the office. Give security a big "thanks" for their extra efforts, we need them.

WOW...what a highly visible, wonderful SECURITY vehicle this will be. We are sorry we are not there to see it at the moment. However, grateful thanks to ALL our neighbors for caring to get involved; for generous contributions; for Vistamares' contribution and again, for the untiring efforts of Rob Shirley and the Vecinos Vigilantes team in staying on top of efforts to bring attention to SECURITY issues, on behalf of us all. We know it takes EFFORT, TIME and COMMITMENT to be involved at all, so we send GRATEFUL THANKS and ... BRAVO!

Que bonito el UTV, se ve fuerte.
Yo había prometido un pequeño aporte pero nunca recibí el número de cuenta donde depositar, a lo mejor ese día me perdí el boletín de pacar.
Si hay una cuenta y todavía se puede depositar, me avisan para mandar lo prometido.

Nice UTV, seems strong. I had promised a small contribution, but never received the account number where to deposit. Maybe i missed that Pacar Bulletin. If there is an account to deposit and still is possible to deposit, let me know to keep my promise of contribution. Thanks to those with the iniciative and to the donors.

las ideas se hacen realidad cuando se dan los compromisos de impulsarlas y se concretiza una participación.
Gracias Rob por el tremendo interés y ganas que le dio vida a la idea, lo cual se traduce en trabajo realizado, gestiones y negociaciones y a Leslie y otros que han estado apoyando en esta logística.
Todo este esfuerzo adicional a la vigilancia redunda en beneficio de los propietarios disminuyendo así las preocupaciones.
